About the Role
Collaborate with the engineering team to assist in the design and development of battery packs and energy storage solutions, focusing on mechanical aspects.
Support the creation of 3D models and technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Participate in the prototyping and assembly of battery pack components, working closely with technicians and engineers to bring designs to life.
Conduct mechanical testing and validation of battery pack designs, including structural analysis, environmental testing, and performance evaluation.
Assist in the analysis and interpretation of test data, identifying opportunities for design optimization and performance enhancement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components with electrical systems and battery management systems (BMS).
Stay updated with the latest advancements and emerging technologies in battery pack design, energy storage solutions, and industry best practices.
Contribute to the documentation of design specifications, test procedures, and engineering reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Support the engineering team in problem-solving and troubleshooting activities related to mechanical aspects of battery pack design and validation.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and design fundamentals.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and technical drawing creation.
Basic knowledge of battery technology and energy storage systems is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Familiarity with mechanical testing and validation techniques is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
