About the Role

Collaborate with the engineering team to assist in the design, development, and testing of battery management systems, focusing on embedded systems and electronics.
Participate in the implementation of C++ embedded coding for BMS functionalities, including battery monitoring, state estimation, and protection algorithms.
Support the design and development of BMS hardware components, including microcontrollers, sensors, communication interfaces, and power electronics.
Assist in the selection and evaluation of electronic components and subsystems for BMS integration.
Contribute to the creation and execution of test plans and procedures to verify and validate BMS functionality, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the BMS with battery packs, electric vehicle systems, or other energy storage solutions.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in embedded systems, electronics engineering, battery technologies, and industry best practices.
Support the documentation of design specifications, technical reports, and engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting activities related to BMS hardware and software integration.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  2. Solid understanding of embedded systems, electronics engineering principles, and C++ programming.

  3. Proficiency in C++ programming for embedded systems, with experience in real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontroller programming.

  4. Basic knowledge of battery management systems and energy storage technologies is desirable.

  5. Familiarity with electronic circuit design, analog and digital electronics, and PCB layout design.

  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas.

  7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  8. Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

  9. Familiarity with hardware design tools and software, such as Altium Designer or Eagle.

  10. Eligibility to work legally in the location of the internship.
