Questions

Common questions.

Not here? Ask us on WhatsApp.

What is AIS 156 Amd 4, and does my scooter battery need it?

AIS 156 is the Indian safety standard for traction batteries in L-category electric vehicles such as scooters and motorcycles. Amendment 4 is the current revision. Battery packs fitted to e-2Ws sold in India need to comply. Our 3.2 kWh pack is certified to it.

Can the 3.2 kWh pack be used in my existing scooter?

It's a 50.4 V, 65 Ah pack with a blind-swap connector. Share your motor controller and mounting details and our engineers will confirm fit and communication compatibility.

Can I connect several 5 kWh or 10 kWh storage units together?

Yes. The modules connect in parallel at 48 V, so you can start with one and expand up to 100 kWh.

Do you sell the BMS on its own?

Yes. NewSparky is available to pack makers in 3S to 16S configurations, with engineering support for integration.

Where do you supply?

Across India, with on-site support across India.
